Welcome to the winter 2024 edition of the Drastic project newsletter. Drastic is a pioneering four-year collaborative project, launched in October 2023 and co-funded by the European Union (EU) via the Built4People Partnership.

Eero Nigumann, project manager at Timbeco (one of Drastic’s Estonian project partners) was awarded the the Young Civil Engineer 2024 prize by the Estonian Civil Engineers Union at the Ehitus 2025+: "New or Old?" Conference on 27 November 2024.

In April, Drastic was featured as part of this year’s World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) in Brussels. The WCEF is one of the world’s leading events for circular economy thinkers, doers and leaders, showcasing the most impactful circular solutions from around the world.
