This page exists to explain how we may use your personal data.
Data from this website will be collected by all Drastic project partners, with data governance overseen by VITO, the Project Coordinator and WorldGBC, Communications Lead partner. If you have any questions about the Drastic Privacy Policy, please contact, europe@worldgbc.
What type of information will be collected from you?
The data we process via the Drastic website comprises data that you provide through the appropriate forms that we use to formalise our contact with you and/or through e-mail, via the Drastic website, as well as those others that, where appropriate, we obtain through the corporate profiles of Drastic partners on the social networks where the project is present.
The personal information we collect might include your name, organisation, job title, business email address, and business telephone numbers. We may also collect information on ways that you have interacted with Drastic, for instance, email content, email opens and click-throughs, event attendance, participation in meetings, etc.
We may also collect Internet browsing data (e.g. IP address, log file information, visits to web pages, connections to Wi-Fi networks, device details, cookies, etc.).
How will the information be collected by us?
The data that we process will have been obtained from you through the different forms that you complete when browsing the Drastic website, via browsing of the Drastic website itself, and by sending an inquiry email.
If the personal data that you provide belongs to a third party, you shall be responsible for guaranteeing that you have informed the third party of this privacy policy and have obtained their authorisation to provide your data to Drastic for the purposes indicated below.
Additionally, we hereby inform you of the possible processing of your social network data through the corporate profiles that Drastic makes available on each social network where it is present, all under the terms and conditions established on each individual social network.
How will your information be used?
We will collect personal data to the extent required to fulfil a specific purpose. The collected data may be shared with the European Commission and with the project’s consortium and partners for compliance with reporting, monitoring and auditing requirements, but personal information will not be shared nor sold to third-party marketers.
Your personal data may be collected and further processed under the Drastic project for the following purposes:
- To notify you about website changes, updates and project news
- To promote project events, meetings, work, news and resources
- To manage project webinars, workshops and training activities to facilitate dialogue or project community groups
- To deliver and monitor demand-driven and tailored capacity support towards project stakeholders
- To establish new partnerships, engage stakeholders and collect feedback from project stakeholders
- To provide access to project social networks
- To deliver and monitor newsletters
- To assess engagement levels of the Drastic project community as a whole
- To notify you of changes to our services
- To send you any other communications which may be of interest in relation to the Drastic project
- To promote other relevant Drastic networks or affiliated EU projects
We will never retain personal information beyond what is necessary to deliver relevant activity. We are legally required to hold some information to fulfil our statutory obligations.
Who will we share information with?
Any personal information about you that is collected will be available to all of the Drastic project partners. You may unsubscribe and request that your details be removed from our databases at any time by emailing europe@worldgbc.org. We will never share personal information with a third party for marketing purposes unless given prior consent.
We will share personal information with some third parties in the process of providing our services, for instance with some IT providers and other subcontractors.
What are your choices?
You have the right to opt out of communications or to have your personal information deleted from our records at any time, unless we have a legal obligation to retain it. You also have the right to ask us to no longer process your personal data (if you have a valid and legal reason for this). This can be done by contacting europe@worldgbc.org.
How can you update your information?
You can contact us at any time to update your personal information held by us. You also have the right to request any information we hold about you. Again, please contact europe@worldgbc.org to do so.
Security
We will always ensure that your information is kept secure and that all electronic data – email accounts, databases and devices are protected by regularly updated passwords. Some non-sensitive data will be transmitted over the internet and is outside of our control (emails for instance) for which we can never guarantee complete security. We will never ask you to share your password.
Data Profiling
We may analyse your personal data to assess your interactions with us or to help us identify areas of our work that may be of specific interest to you. You may receive communications from us based on these analytics.
Use of ‘cookies’
