Drastic is delighted to announce that project partner, Produktif, has received not one, but two Green Solutions 2025 Awards from Construction-21 International for their work on the design and submission of a winning Passive House construction to the Ice Box Challenge Oslo in the summer of 2024.

Drastic partner Produktif joins around 60 hopeful entrants to the prestigious international round of Construction 21’s Green Solutions Awards 2024-2025, which will be announced on 12 November 2025 at COP30 in Belém, Brazil.

At this year’s Smart City Expo, held in Barcelona, Spain, members of the Drastic consortium hosted a special roundtable panel on Wednesday 5 November, which offered the chance to explore one of the most pressing challenges—and opportunities—in the sector: how to make circular construction a reality.

Drastic’s fourth General Assembly, held at Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, gathered the project’s consortium at a pivotal moment, as Drastic hits its two-year mark and is privy to a clearer view of the challenges ahead, via the experiences and lessons learned from two years of project proceedings.

Horizon Europe’s Drastic project is playing a key part in the drive to delay Earth Overshoot Day via its groundbreaking new Design Guidance and Assessment Framework and multiple European Demonstrator projects.
